Sunny is the best!!

Sunny so far is the more lovable one. Oscar is a cutie too and he can be affectionate but he hates being picked up and he hates being without his bro!

Curly Q Tail!!! So damn cute!!!

He looked up just as I was taking this pic

Awwww he's showing off his spotty tummy!!

Night Time is the Right Time...

These guys are SO CUTE when they sleep!!! You rarely find them more than 10 inches apart from each other when they are sleeping. I am so glad we are able to keep them together. How could I bear to ever separate them???

Introducing Oscar...

This is Sunny's twin brother Oscar! We named him that because it is one of Jamie's favorite names and he is a wee bit grouchier than his bro! He is still a nice cat but not as lovable. He has yet to purr at all and he hates being picked up. He also is very violent when you try to feed them wet food! He growls and tries to shred your hand!! I don't know if there was a lot of competition where he came from or what! Poor Fluffy doesn't know what to think now! Oscar also had ear mites but they seem to have cleared up pretty quickly. He was much easier to treat than his brother. Oh boy those vet bills will be piling up now!!

They did not wake up the entire time we were taking these pictures! This is what they looked like when we laid them back down:

And then there was light...

Sunny!!!
Sunny is 8 weeks old now and he came to us from a friend of mine at work all the way from Richford, VT! He is a little sweetheart who purrs as soon as you come near and loves to sit on shoulders! He has a bad habit of trying to climb your leg, clothed or not, in order to be closer to your shoulder! He also beats the hell out of Fluffy! But he is just a little bitty who doesn't know better yet. Fluffy takes it well but you can tell he gets a little annoyed after a while! He had ear mites pretty bad when I first got him, but only in one ear. I am trying to get rid of them but its hard when they are so young to find stuff you can use. Olive oil on a q-tip seems pretty effective, and I got some drops from the vet that you have to give 2 times a day for 2 weeks! I'm having a hard time being consistent with them unfortunately.

In the beginning...

There was only Fluffy!!
Fluffy is a seven year old white as can be male. He reminds me of a Turkish Angora but I'm sure he's not quite that well bred! I got him from the Humane Society when he was pet of the week. This meant he was there over a month and they were desperate to find him a home. He is the sweetest cat ever!! I can see why he was there though. As awesome as he is, he has a lot of little quirks that can be very annoying! He only drinks water out of the faucet and it has to be just the right temperature/stream and you have to hold your hand on the handle!! He refuses to drink from a dish. I read somewhere that some cats need a certain oxygen molecule that only running water provides. I wonder sometimes because he is pure white that maybe he has some genetic anomalies that make him so...special! He's great though most of the time. He likes to cuddle right up to you when you sleep and sometimes I wake up with my arms around him like a stuffed animal!
