Fluffy 1, Fluffy 2. Fluffy 1, Fluffy 2.

Fluffy 2 has really come out of his shell. He now is purring, head bonking, and coming to me as soon as he hears me come in. He hasn't slept on the bed yet but he isn't nearly as shy and even goes to Kris now. The only thing he is skittish around is children. Or is that are children. bah. He is a big sweetie and I hope that he will only keep relaxing.

Pictureless Update

Fluffy II is doing SO good! He came out as soon as I came home yesterday, he's been purring finally, and he has been head-butting me which his owner said means he really likes me :) !!!! He is soooooooooooooo cute and sweet and I just love him. I hope I don't have to give him back but if I do well that's just the way life goes. He flops down on the floor with a thud when he lies down and was laying on his back last night with his feet in the air like a little dog!
Fluffy I is going to the vet tomorrow to get his exam/shots. $$$$$ and that sucks. Luckily Kris is willing to help out. I hope to have some better pictures of Fluffy II now that he is coming out in the daytime now! Stay tuned...

Fluffy II is out!

Fluffy II finally has come out of the couch on a regular basis and has been lounging, allowing butt-sniffing, and letting me pick him up and pet him without a lot of hissing and growling! I think he's going to be just fine...
On Thursday we took a trip to the Humane Society and looked at the cats there. Kris fell for a pretty little girl kitty named Princess and we are thinking of adopting her...she's tiny and very sweet and friendly, and I don't think that she would be a lot of trouble. She is black and white with medium length hair. She was pregnant when she arrived at the shelter in August but she is fixed now (had the babies) and is ready for a home. We may not be able to get her on account of my other cats needing shots first (I'm not made of money as you all know) but I filled out the paperwork just in case we can and hopefully next week we can visit her again. I know it seems like a lot of cats to have and a lot of work, but Fluffy I is pretty low maintenance, Sunny is no longer an obnoxious kitten, and Fluffy II is older and has been taken care of very good. It also helps to have a husband that likes cats as much as I do and is willing to do more than his share of the upkeep.
